As I've posted a couple of days ago on the blog, Invenzzia Group begins a resurrection and restructurization process. One of the primary tasks is rebuilding the entier Invenzzia website. Here you can find a proposal of the new content organization.
WebsiteThe official website will be run on Diem CMS. It is currently being finished by eXtreme, and we plan to run it in February. The goal is to make the access to the project information much easier, and cleaner. There will be still an article section with tutorials, etc.
BlogBlog will stay, and will go through a refreshment. No decisions about Polish version have been made so far, but the practice shows that translating everything is somewhat difficult and it is probable that we will keep maintaining the English version only.
Code repositoryAs we have moved to Github in June 2010, SVN repositories are no longer necessary. The repository hosting is now on Github, and
svn.invenzzia.org will be shutdown by the end of February 2011. If you are linking to these repositories through
svn:externals, please be aware that they will stop working after that date.
BugtrackerFlyspray seems to be no longer maintained, and there is no good PHP-based replacement for it. Because Github offers a nice issue tracker, we decided to shutdown
bugs.invenzzia.org by the end of
January 2011.
WikiLack of interest in maintaining it. It will be shutdown at the end of February 2011. However, if an appropriate need will appear in the future, the wiki hosting can be run on Github, too.
DownloadsWill be still maintained, basically under the same address:
http://static.invenzzia.org/files/. However, it is rather sure that we will start grouping the packages, because the number of files has grown up.
DocumentationsDocumentation viewer will be available as a new subdomain
docs.invenzzia.org. It will look almost exactly the same, as the current version.
PEAR ChannelIn February, we plan to run a regular PEAR2 channel on
pear.invenzzia.org. It will simplify installing the packages via Pyrus. This step requires a number of preparations on our side, and reconfigure our build environment.
ForumsThe forums will be still maintained, under the same address and with the same discussion board system. However, the board organization will change. The current, initial proposal looks like this:
*

-
